Heras (formerly Garda Group) offers installation, service and maintenance within perimeter and mechanical security, technical security, road safety and industrial doors. Heras is positioned as a perimeter security market leader in Northern Europe and benefits from an integrated offering and wide geographical reach. EMK initially created Garda Group in June 2023 through the simultaneous acquisition of Garda Sikring, Great Security, Heda Security, KIBO Sikring and Windsor Door creating a scaled high-quality consolidated perimeter and technical security installation group across the Nordics. Since the initial combination, Garda Group completed further add-ons and expanded into core geographies across Europe, including the transformative acquisition of Heras in 2024, the European perimeter security market leader with headquarters in the Netherlands. In 2025, EMK took the decision to integrate all of the Garda Group brands under the Heras banner, rebranding the group under one name.

EMK Capital initially acquired a majority stake in the Group with key management shareholders who reinvested alongside us. EMK Capital invested in the Group to further develop the service and product offering while accelerating geographical expansion organically and inorganically.
