Laura Wegter

Laura Wegter is an Associate based in the Amsterdam office.
Prior to EMK, Laura worked at McKinsey & Company, where she primarily operated within the Private Capital Practice, working with private equity firms and family businesses on (portfolio) strategy, due diligence, and value creation plans.
Laura holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. She also holds a MSC in Global Governance & Diplomacy from the University of Oxford, an MA in International Relations and Global Political Economy from Leiden University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Law from Amsterdam University College.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys staying active, in particular through pilates, spinning, and hiking. She also enjoys exploring new hobbies (from furniture reupholstering to gardening), cooking, and listening to podcasts.
